High School Merit Scholarships

The Greene School is pleased to offer a number of merit-based high school scholarships. These will be based on demonstrated excellence in academics and areas of students' interest. Unlike a traditional scholarship process, admission and scholarship grants are concurrent. Upon acceptance, applicants will learn of their overall financial responsibility and award status.

Qualifying Criteria 

  • Rising 9th-grade student

  • Mostly A’s in honors and high school-level courses

  • Above-average score on a national or state standardized test

  • High-level academic writing

  • Impeccable character and behavior 

  • Leadership qualities both inside and outside of the classroom

  • Passionate about an activity or interest 

  • Excited to be a fixture on campus during afterschool programming
